Memorial Cabinet – The Quadrant Pub

There is a wall-mounted memorial cabinet at the Quadrant Pub in Stretford. The pub is situated about 10 minutes walk from Old Trafford and is popular with fans on a match day.

The Supporters Anniversary Gathering

It has become a tradition for fans to visit Old Trafford on Feb 6th each year to pay their respects to those who perished in the crash

The Memorials at Munich Airport

In September 2004 a new memorial was unveiled at Munich Airport in a ceremony attended by Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Bobby Charlton.

The Original Munich Plaque

The classic terrace tribute to the Busby Babes starts: “There is a plaque at Man United, it’s underneath the old Main Stand, It bears the name of Duncan Edwards, he was the finest in the land…”

The New Munich Plaque

A plaque in memory of those who died was erected at Old Trafford on 25th February 1960. The plaque was paid for by the club and unveiled by Matt Busby
